Appointments are required, We also highly recommend pre-booking your next appointment either online or upon checkout as our schedule tends to reach capacity a least a few weeks in advance.
Your time is valuable and so is ours. We provide services by appointment only. When you book an appointment at SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare you are purchasing time with us so that we may provide you with our expert services. As your Esthetician, I commit to having enough time to serve you. Please arrive on time and precisely at your scheduled time for your appointment.
**COVID-19 UPDATE- When you arrive for your appointment we ask that you remain in your vehicle and text us to let us know that you have arrived. We will text you back when we are ready for you to enter the clinic. Please note we are also not allowing any additional guests to accompany clients during services. The only exception is if a minor is receiving treatment then a parent/legal guardian is required to be present during treatment.**
Clients will not be taken earlier than their scheduled appointment time unless we have contacted you prior to your appointment and offered you the option of an earlier start time.
Please keep in mind that we have scheduled breaks and a time to eat lunch during our busy day. We know you will understand when we say that we will not forfeit those needed time **COVID-19 UPDATE- For us to remain compliant with state/county/CDC guidelines for modified reopening practices we are required to maintain gaps in our schedule between clients to allow for thorough cleaning/sanitizing/disinfection between each client service. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all adjust to our “new normal”.**If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We understand that life gets busy and sometimes things come up. Please be respectful of our time and the time of our other clients. The cancellation/ no show policy will always be enforced.
**COVID-19 UPDATE- We are requiring all clients who are sick or have been sick in the last 14 days to reschedule their appointment until they have been healthy for a MINIMUM of 14 days. This includes ANYONE in your home/ ANYONE you have been exposed to who is sick or has been sick in the last 14 days. We are requiring appointments to be rescheduled if you, or anyone in your home or anyone you work in close proximity to is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 TEST. Once you/they have a NEGATIVE test result you may reschedule your service appointment. We will do our best to get you back in for an appointment as quickly as possible**
Our waitlist is usually filled to capacity every day, this allows time for another client to be offered your appointment time.
**We hope our clients will understand and appreciate that we were forced to shut down for 8.5 MONTHS. That is a very long time for a small business to have almost no revenue coming in to pay all the bills that did not stop needing to be paid. We have a lot of time/revenue to make up for and we cannot make any special exceptions for anyone in regards to fees**
Appointments canceled within 24 hours up to 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged 50% of the service fee.
Appointments canceled within 2 hours of scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the service fee.
**COVID-19 UPDATE- If you are experiencing ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS please call/text and cancel your appointment IMMEDIATELY. If you have or think you have COVID-19 or if ANYONE IN YOUR HOME has COVID-19 symptoms as long as you call/text IMMEDATELY to cancel your appointment you will not be charged a cancellation fee if you can show proof of a COVID TEST result for said illness. Regardless if it comes back positive or negative if your physician felt it justified a test to rule out or confirm COVID-19 then we will waive the cancellation fee. Please note you will need a note from your physician confirming you are healthy and cleared to receive services**
NO CALL/ NO SHOW will be automatically charged 100% of the service fee that was missed.
**COVID-19 UPDATE- Any client who comes to the clinic exhibiting ANY symptoms of illness will be refused service and will be charged 100% of the service fee. Any client who does so a second time will be denied any future appointments with SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare. Our health and the health of ALL our clients is our top priority and we will not tolerate anyone jeopardizing our health or the health of our other clients.
Any client that knows they/ their household should be quarantined at home due to COVID exposure/pending test results- DO NOT SHOW UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT. IF the appointment was already scheduled then you should cancel immediately. If any client KNOWINGLY EXPOSES my clinic and/or my clients because they didn’t want to stay home- you will be refused any future appointments from SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare and legal action may be pursued.**
ALL fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Automated appointment confirmation texts and emails will be made within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment. This is a complimentary service we provide for your convenience, if for some reason you do not receive these reminders you are still responsible for either keeping or cancelling/ rescheduling your appointments accordingly.
Appointments booked for the same day are considered confirmed and cannot be cancelled.
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for family. Any Exceptions will be made at the sole discretion of SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare.
All Services booked including but not limited to prepaid packages, promotional offers and gift certificates require at least a 24 hour notice to reschedule or cancel, and in the event of a no-show, will be still be subject to the cancellation/ no show fees. These fees are non-refundable.
Fees will not be exchanged for or paid by deducting a session from your prepaid packages or any other promotional offer or gift certificate.
If you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled reservation time, we may not be able to provide the full treatment but will perform an abbreviated treatment at the full price. More than 15 minutes late will be considered a last minute cancellation and the above policy will apply.
Scheduling an appointment will be your agreement to these policies and act as your automatic authorization for any subsequent fees.
Account Credit Card
SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare requires clients to keep a credit card on file on our secure computer system MINDBODY.
This will allow you to reserve your chosen appointments once your appointment requests have been approved.
Your credit card will not be charged unless you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment according to the cancellation/ no show policy.
By scheduling an appointment with SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare you are agreeing to this cancellation/ no show policy in its entirety.
Scheduling an appointment will be your agreement to these policies and act as your automatic authorization for any subsequent fees.
Appointment Reminder Notifications

Please Note: Appointment text messages can only be sent if you have opted in for text messaging notifications in your client profile. You can activate this by logging into your profile or you can call/text us if you would like text reminders activated for your appointments. Also, Email notifications will NOT be sent if you choose to opt-out of emails & notifications when setting up your client profile. Same Day Appointment
Appointments booked for the same day are considered confirmed and cannot be canceled.
Pre-Paid Packages / Promotions
All Services booked, including but not limited to: prepaid packages, other promotional offers, and gift certificates require at least a 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel, and in the event of a no-show, will still be subject to the cancellation/ no show fee of $50.
The CC in the client profile will be automatically charged.
This fee is non-refundable.
This fee will not be exchanged for or paid by deducting a session from your prepaid packages or any other promotional offer or gift certificate.
Prepaid packages, promotional offers and gift certificates for a particular service cannot be exchanged or swapped out for any other service.
Refunds will not be given for prepaid packages, promotional offers or gift certificates. *Please be sure to note if the prepaid package, promotional offer or gift certificate has a expiration date.* NO exceptions will be made for any that have passed the expiration date.
If you are less than 15 minutes late for your scheduled reservation time, We may not be able to provide the full treatment but will perform an abbreviated treatment at the full price if time allows.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, there will simply not be enough time to perform even an abbreviated service and your service will have to be rescheduled for a later date. This will be considered a last-minute cancellation and the cancellation policy above will apply.
A $40 fee will be assessed for returned checks, and payment of the original invoice plus the returned check fee will be required and will be charged to the credit card on file. Additionally, all future payments will be required by cash or credit card. This fee is non-refundable.
Refusal of Service
SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare reserves the right to refuse service to any individual, based on:
- Lack of client compliance during treatment series
- Client not complying with pre and post-care instructions
- Client non-compliance with home care product use
- Habitual tardiness/cancellations
- Disregard of our professional advice is a waste of our time and your money.
- Rude or inappropriate behavior of kind to anyone on the premises
- **COVID-19 UPDATE- Any client who comes to the clinic exhibiting ANY symptoms of illness will be refused service and will be charged 100% of the service fee. Any client who does so a second time will be permanently refused future services at SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare. Our health and the health of ALL our clients is our top priority and we will not tolerate anyone jeopardizing our health or the health of our other clients.
- Any Client that knows they/ their household should be quarantined at home due to COVID exposure/pending test results- DO NOT SHOW UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT. IF the appointment was already scheduled then you should cancel immediately. If any client KNOWINGLY EXPOSES my clinic and/or my clients because they didnt want to stay home- you will be blacklisted from SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare and I will pursue legal action for assault. JUST DON’T DO IT. PERIOD.
Minors / Teens
Minor teens and children coming in for appointments must be accompanied by their parent or guardian during the ENTIRE appointment. All intake/consent forms for minors must be signed by their parent or guardian at the start of every appointment.
Generally, it is not recommended that you bring your children with you to your appointment as your service should be a time for you to take for yourself and as a parent myself, I know it is difficult to keep tabs on a child while laying down with your eyes closed.
However, we understand that sometimes we don’t always have childcare available so if you do need to bring your child to your appointment you may do so as long as they are able to sit quietly either in the waiting area or in the treatment room with us in the chair provided.
If your child is overly disruptive to the point of inhibiting my ability to provide the service or disrupts any of the products on the shelves, equipment, or furnishings your service will end at that point at the full price. You will need to make arrangements for childcare for future appointments.
Clients will be held financially responsible for anything damaged by their child during the appointment.
Any Child left unattended will be given caffeine and sugar and taught to curse like a sailor! 😉
Returns / Refunds
If you are a new client, in order to ensure you are receiving the correct products for your skin and that you follow a correctly prescribed regimen, you will need to schedule a consultation before you will be able to purchase products. Complimentary consultations are available.
All returns must be made within 10 days of purchase and must be accompanied by the original receipt.
Products returned unopened, unused, with the safety seal intact, resaleable in the original packaging, will receive a 100% refund of the product purchase price. Opened, unsealed, and/or partially used products are not returnable. Any exceptions made will be at your estheticians sole discretion.
All sales of seasonal items or items special ordered for you are final.
All services are non-refundable. You have purchased time for me to provide you with my expert skill set. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the service you received please contact me immediately so together we can reach a solution.
ALL fees are non-refundable.
We respect the privacy of our customers and will not release any customer information to third parties. We will never trade, sell, rent, or share addresses or any other personal information with anyone. Any information obtained is used to process your order or maintain your client file only. Email and physical addresses are used solely for the purpose of communication between SHOW A LITTLE SKINcare and clients. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of any mailings.
If you would prefer to cease receiving mail or email, or to change your expressed interests, simply log into your MINDBODY profile and you will be able to customize your settings.
